Dropping more crumbs for you. It's been 3 weeks since I last posted. How time flies.
Things that have been learnt in the last 3 weeks...sitting (by Morty), how to write U and T and N (by Bella).
Evidence of the sitting
He obviously can't get himself to sitting yet, but if you plonk him down he'll manage to sit for a while, well up until the point he gets bored of what he's looking at or playing with, and tips himself over and attempts to roll away. Yes, he's got the whole rolling 360 degrees thing down pat now, heaven help us all. I think it's time to get the playpen out, but I'm not sure if it's going to be Morty sitting in it, or me and Bella! Oh, and if you look carefully at this photo you will see Morty's first two little chompers.
Here's the sibs looking all cute and serious
I didn't realise that they look like they both inherited the same nose until I saw this picture. Ah, yet another feature that doesn't come from me!
We got a buggy board recently. Having to carry Bella on his shoulders all the time was doing Matthew's back in. Bella has really taken to the buggy board. This photo belies the fact that she likes it, she just wasn't in the mood for having her photo taken. Usually if Morty isn't bored and trying to sleep, they will chat and giggle to each other.
I finally got photo evidence of the way that Morty likes to sleep. Before I show it, please note that attempting to remove the blanket results in him snuffling, probably waking, and getting irate. It's not worth that angst. We're now at the point that he almost wont go to sleep without a blanket covering his face. I don't put it there, it's all self inflicted! It is a cellular blanket, so it's got holes in, and I do check his breathing periodically, but he seems fine, so I'm having to run with it, SIDS risk and all.
What else is happening. Hmm?
Something strange is going on in our house...Matthew has pretty much liked everything I've cooked since before Christmas. Matthew usually tolerates my cooking but doesn't particularly enjoy it. But something has gone wrong, even when I cook something I expect him to dislike, it's still turning out OK. I must be due for a real shocker soon, things can't go on with my husband liking my cooking, it's just not right!
Morty is still being a little tinker at not drinking at nursery. Yesterday I donated 3.9 litres of milk to the milk bank, and that was just 3 weeks worth of expressing. Yes, you did read that right, almost 4 litres in 3 weeks. I'm rather popular with the milk bank at the moment! We've got one last thing to try to see if he will drink at nursery, and then we'll write it off as a lost cause. Solids on the other hand, he's well taken with those. He's now on 3 meals a day. He gets baby mush sometimes, but it's actually easier for dinner to just feed him stuff off my plate, provided it's not salty or sugary of course. He's doing very well with what he can manage too. So we'll just run with this baby led weaning business.
Bella is really into writing at the moment, and getting us to show her letters and her copying them. She's a pretty quick study too. She can already write her name, and she's recognising more and more all the time. Intellectually I think she's going to be more than ready for school come September.
Other than that we're just in heads down, cope with February, wish to win lots of money and quit our jobs mode.
And since there hasn't been a photo of me on here in forever, here's me this morning, post coffee (decaf unfortunately) in my office, in all my been up at 11pm, 1.25am, and 5.15am glory!
Taking note of all your great weblog, I obtain it is of the unique topic and absolute inspiring ideas. Thinking of going into that profession, I will certainly get which I need from your current blog. Greatest wishes for you!

Awww, that's a cute serious shot! You should do a "series photoshoot" - serious, then goofy, then smiley! That would showcase Morty's chompers, unless he'd rather roll away!
